Ghana Nuts Limited was established in 2001 as a wholly owned Private Limited Liability Company. It commenced operations as a premier commodity trader in Soya, groundnuts, cashew, sheanuts and sesame to Europe, UK, India and Japan. Exports of these products amounted to 20,000 tons per annum.
Since its inception in 2001, GNL has sought to, and succeeded in extending her influence to the length and breadth of Ghana.
It has remained focused on her core competencies and has become First class Soya oil and meal producer for markets in Ghana, Burkina Faso and Côte d'Ivoire, with a capacity of 30,000 tons.
The Company currently employs up to 500 workers and has a highly qualified International management team.
Corporate Mission
To promote the export of high quality Ghanaian nuts and oilseeds at competitive prices as a reliable alternative to nuts from other markets and to provide premium quality oils and oil products on the local market .
Capacity
Our production capacity conveniently accommodates an annual production of 30,000 tons of Soya, 6000 tons of Soya oil and 24,000 tons of Soya bean meal with a coverage area of 20 hectors of land.
GNL also has a storage capacity of 10,000 tons of nuts and 500 tons of oil.
Production
We adhere to the highest standards of manufacturing and ensure minimal environmental impact.Our integrated extraction plant is designed to extract over 98% of oil from the raw material.
It entails over six refining processes that produce the best soya oil for human consumption. Well experienced professional operators from india set the hundreds of parameters for optimal results. Its exclusive solvent extraction process enables GNL to provide Soya Meal that meet international standards. This is reflected in the high nutritional values that the Company prides itself in.
The Company is operating the first Sorting and Screening Machines in Ghana to ensure the highest quality at international standard of Seeds and Nuts for export.
Soya Meal
GNL is the premier extractor of Soya Oil in Ghana. Because of the solvent extraction process GNL is able to provide Soya Meal that meets international standards. This reflects in a high protein level of 48% to 50% and a low oil level of less than 2%.
